Where Music Meets Mission
Sydney's music often shines a spotlight on organizations and missions that champion health, wellbeing, and community support.
She serves as a junior board member of The Felix Organization—a nonprofit founded in 2006 by Sheila Jaffe and Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of Run-DMC—which provides life-changing experiences for children in the foster care system, most notably through its summer camp, Camp Felix.
She co-wrote the “Camp Felix Song” with DMC, infusing it with motivational vibes that celebrate the fun, nurturing environment the camp offers. Another heartfelt example is her song “Serenity Stables,” dedicated to an equine therapy barn in New Jersey that supports veterans and others through healing connections with horses.
These projects have shown her how the soothing, uplifting vibrations of her music can positively influence young people in lasting ways, which inspired her to write an original lullaby series.
Sydney has brought her creative spark to commercial work, through the craft an
energetic infomercial music bed and jingle for Perspirology—a boutique fitness studio
in the Jersey Shore area (with locations in Sea Bright and Middletown, NJ) offering
heated dance cardio, trampoline "Bounce" workouts, and high-intensity sculpting
classes.”
